AMP Opens Office and Grows Team in Bangalore, India
Paramount, CA. — AMP grows Indian team by announcing today the opening of a new office in Bangalore, India. AMP is an e-mobility Tier 1 supplier based on Los Angeles (California) with offices in Detroit (Michigan), Shanghai (China) and now Bangalore (India).
“We’re incredibly excited to open a new office in Bangalore. We had planned on opening the office sooner as our team had been working remotely, at customers or at partner facilities. However, COVID-19 had caused us to pause the move as most of India was shut down,” said Anil Paryani, CEO of AMP. “We’re excited about the new office. There is a lot of innovation happening in Bangalore, and we have customers in the Bangalore area. It’s a win-win for AMP to have a presence here.”
“Demand in Asia has been substantial with the demand in India driving a lot of positive activity for AMP in Asia. We’ve moved past development projects and into production programs very quickly. The demand for e-mobility technology is very high, and there is simply a lack of quality companies providing solutions in this space. Our focus on energy management is a game changer for our customers. Very few companies have the expertise to support both energy management and charging technology It’s simply a game-changer.”
“As far as our team in India, we are just getting started with the hiring processes. We plan on developing a fully independent team in India that is supporting customers in ASIA as well as global customers,” said Anil Paryani. “In essence, you have 24/7 operations between the offices in North American and India.
